Locks at kickoff
A pick can only be made before the game starts, and it can never be edited. The database refuses anything after kickoff, so no result is ever posted as a pick after the fact.
Graded from the final score
Nobody grades by hand. Once the game is final, the score decides the pick: win, loss or push, in units at the odds the pick was made at.
Every pick counts
Losses stay on the record next to the wins. A weekly scorecard shows the whole week, not just the good part of it.

Any member can make picks. They land in the Sports tab of the feed, turn into the result when the game ends, and count on the Bets leaderboard.
