Trust & Transparency
Editorial Standards
How we research, write, review, and update the copy-trading content on this site, and where education ends and advice would begin.
Who writes our content
RelayTrades content is produced by the RelayTrades team, the people who build and operate the platform. That means the guides, comparisons, and glossary are written by people who work with copy trading, brokerage connections through SnapTrade, order routing, and risk controls every day, not by outside content mills. Articles are attributed to the RelayTrades team as a matter of editorial policy.
Our writing and review process
Every article starts from a real question a trader might ask. We draft an answer-first explanation, check it against primary sources (broker and SnapTrade documentation, regulator guidance, and how the RelayTrades platform actually behaves), and review it for accuracy and clarity before it is published. Comparisons and broker claims are checked against what each broker actually supports.
Accuracy and no overpromising
We only state what is true and verifiable. For supported brokers, we list a brokerage as execution-capable only after confirming it supports live order placement through SnapTrade, and we clearly mark read-only brokers as not supported for automated copy execution. We do not exaggerate returns, guarantee outcomes, or imply results that copy trading cannot deliver.
Education, not investment advice
Our content is educational. RelayTrades is software and automation support, it is not a broker-dealer, a registered investment adviser, or a money manager, and nothing on this site is personalized investment, legal, or tax advice. All trading involves risk, you can lose money, and past performance does not indicate future results. For decisions specific to your situation, speak with a licensed professional.
Sourcing and transparency
Where a claim depends on an outside source, such as a broker fee schedule, a legal or tax point, or a platform capability, we point to that source or state the uncertainty plainly rather than presenting a guess as fact. When something depends on your jurisdiction or account, we say so.
Updates and corrections
Copy trading, broker support, and pricing change over time, so we date our articles and update them when the facts change. If you spot something inaccurate or out of date, contact us through the support page and we will review and correct it.
